The Help You Need

With over 20 years tutoring, I specialize in reading, writing, math, and test prep. I assess needs and tailor instruction to meet those needs. While some learners begin from the beginning, older students can get help filling in gaps.

My Approach

I blend a combination of explicit instruction, play-based practice and Orton Gillingham science of reading methods to help every learner achieve his or her goals.

Languages Supported

As a native English speaker with training in second language acquisition, I am able to teach students with any home language. Learning to read in English can be especially challenging for young children who do not yet read in their primary language. I can make the process easier.

Russian -Proficient

Spanish & French - able to read and write, familiar with grammar and vocabulary

Hebrew, Arabic, Chinese - familiar with features that often differ from English.
